MERAKI 1

Meraki is a Stan Huntingford designed Explorer 45. She’s a cutter rigged 45′ sailboat with a long full keel. Built in Taiwain in 1977 Stan Huntingford designed his boats for offshore blue water sailing.
We couldn’t be happier with Meraki’s interior layout and feel fortunate with our budget just how much space we all have as a growing family of 4.

Meraki 2 is a Transpac 49 monohull ketch designed by George Duke and built by Transpacific Marine Ltd. She is Hull #44 built in 1983. Transpac 49s are solidly built long distance ocean cruisers. We love how she performs and she checked many of the boxes on our wish list: -full keel – safe and solid in high seas – 3 staterooms for friends and family to visit – large deck space – Centre cockpit – cutter rigged. Kevin loves the stand up engine room complete with work bench. Shawna loves the rich wood interior with teak and holly floors.
